My go to Pregnancy looks

img_9232Dear Diary

When I was pregnant with my first child Mateo, one of the things I struggled with was fashion and styling my bump.  I went out of my way and bought maternity clothing and spent so much money on things I didn’t even like – nothing seemed to look good in the end. The whole pregnancy I honesty looked like an old lady and was so self conscious about my growing belly (True story!).  Well this time around I did my research and have managed to still maintain my style and embrace my growing belly. Below you will find 6 of my go to comfy and stylish pregnancy looks. (I will definitely be wearing some of the outfits post pregnancy as well). I’m not a fashion stylist but thought it could be a starting point for pregnant mummy’s to be who are finding it difficult to find pieces that are comfortable as well as flattering.

This look has to be one of my favourite!  It’s so comfortable and perfect for casual outings such as lunch with your girlfriends. (I love how the top is flowy and hides the bump when you don’t want it to be seen. You can also tuck it in if you prefer to show of the bump a little πŸ™‚

Top– Seed Heritage (Sale)

Jeans- Forever New (Stretchy material and so comfortable)

Bag– Louis Vuitton Pochette

Shoes– AVON (The softest pair of slides I own)

This outfit is all Avon! Yes I said Avon (excluding the bag).  I love this outfit because the dress is loose fit. It’s perfect for when you don’t have the time to make such an effort. (This is my go to outfit when I’m going to the grocery store or mums house).

Dress– Avon (stretch jean material)

Bag– Mocha (perfect for small items wallet/phone/keys)

shoes– Avon slides

Kookai dresses are a must have when you are pregnant! Stretchy material is your best friend when the baby bump is growing every day. I love this dress so much because it can be both casual and dressy. (I’m loving grey at the moment- they have heaps of different colours to choose from).

Dress– Kookai (stretch material)

Bag–  Gucci clutch (adds a bit of colour to the outfit)

Shoes– Michael Kors (comfy loafers/You can wear heals to dress up the outfit)

This outfit is what I call the “mama outfit” comfy/stretch denim shorts and loose spaghetti strap top. I will be wearing this a lot in the coming months for summer (especially as my bump is getting bigger)

Top– Crossroads

Jean shorts– D.Jeans

Bag– Mocha

Shoes– Tony Bianco (Pearl slides just spice up the outfit)

I Love everything about this dress! Such a comfortable must have piece in your wardrobe this summer.

Dress– Seed Heritiage (New collection)

Shoes– Avon Slides

I love a good pair of comfy pants! This is a simple but stylish outfit πŸ™‚ You can style it with a pair of cute flats, wedges or sneakers just like I did.

Top– Atoms&Here (lace Material)

Pants– Cotton on (soft jean material)

Shoes– Calvin Klein sneakers (I live in these sneakers)

Overall these are just some of my go to favourite pieces in my wardrobe. I’m still experimenting with my pregnancy fashion and don’t get it right all the time (god sometimes I don’t know what I was thinking) but I guess everyone can make mistakes with fashion, pregnant or not!  I look forward to finding other pieces that suit my pregnant belly.

“I’m so in love with my changing shape… I don’t want to cover it up or hide it- I want to flaunt it” – Daphne Oz
