So we decided to take a short trip to Noosa for our 6 year wedding anniversary and Vlado’s birthday. It was such a beautiful and relaxing place and I didn’t expect to fall in love with it like I did. We will definitely be taking another family trip down to Noosa very soon.
Our first family trip
So it was the first time we were all getting on a plane together as a family and I’m not going to lie I was extremely, extremely nervous. Travelling with toddlers ain’t easy, let me tell you! Our morning didn’t start of so great as we missed our flight. Yup! We arrived at check in 3 min late and we couldn’t get on the flight. Mum tip- Don’t book a 7am flight if your travelling with toddlers because it’s so much harder to get them ready when they are half asleep. But anyways, we managed to book another flight via Sydney 30 min later and we arrived to Noosa by noon. Be sure to take plenty of things to entertain the kids on the plane. Toys, books, iPads and plenty of snacks to keep them busy. (Mateo was so well behaved on the plane but Luka got bored really quickly).
We were really lucky to book such great accomodation considering we booked it 3 days before we arrived. We stayed at the Sebel and it was perfect for us. It was a a 1 bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, a fridge and and an outdoor area. It had everything we needed. There was also in room dinning but it did take a long time to get delivered which was a little annoying. The hotel also had a kids pool which was a plus and it allowed us to sit back and enjoy the sunshine while the kids swam.
The beach is literally at ur door step and it was definitely the highlight of our trip. There is just something about the beach that relaxes me and makes me so happy. The kids as well loved it! We loved our morning walks along the beach. Each morning we brought a take away coffee and went and sat on the beach while the kids played in the sand and splashed in the water. The weather was beautiful (the first day it rained a little but it was still so warm)
